As part of its series of two-minute general election interviews Manx Radio now gives us two minutes with Douglas East candidate Jon Joughin [which in itself feels like ten minutes with Douglas East candidate Jon Joughin] which is 100% predictable in its complete lack of all substance and its sole focus on hyper-local issues such as:
Parking
Empty building sites
The prom

So going by this soundbite he's allegedly going to fix all of the things he has presumably been ineffective in changing about Douglas while acting as either Mayor or Douglas Borough Councillor for nearly ten years.
Yet again just like the two-minutes with Dr Michelle Hayward in Port St Mary you get the distinct feeling of someone who wants to evolve from Town Councillor into a Super Town Councillor via some form of aimless granny-farming osmosis process.
